Updated Status - How Bad/Good Is It?
June 25, 2022
We want to present an accurate picture of the current state of the Coronavirus and how it affects us specifically. Our goal is to provide good information without an agenda.
The local numbers of new cases continue are moderating. Very little has changed since last month.
The numbers of new deaths attributed to Covid have been decreaseing. The number of USA deaths attributed to COVID has passed the 1 million mark. The State of Minnesota had 36 deaths attributed to COVID last week.
The severity of coronavirus is still real. It appears that most Minnesotans are no longer gripped by the fear of catching this virus. The survival rate has remained constantly high for Minnesota and our counties for 2021. The survival rate in Minnesota is above 99%.
Our conclusion: be vigilent. Wash your hands; don't touch your face. If you have symptoms, take them seriously. Be aware of your surroundings, especially if you are in public places.
This is how the numbers compare since April.
